Twisted metal Wiki is a series of Vehicular Combat Video Games. Vehicular Combat Games feature that kind of gameplay where the player has to drive a vehicle as well deal with the opponents with the weapons (basically guns) available. The series of Twisted Metal features eight games including Twisted Metal: Head On: Extra Twisted Edition (2008). The gaming series of Twisted Metal began on 1995 with its first game with the same name. The latest Twisted Metal Game is Twisted Metal (2012) also known as Twisted Metal PlayStation 3.
It is the longest-running exclusive series on PlayStation. Within the seventeen successful years of the series, Twisted Metal has become able to maintain its rank on the 162nd position in the List of the Best-Selling Video Game Franchise. This motor-combat gaming series is published by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by different companies in its history.
Twisted Metal Games and their brief review:
Twisted Metal (1995): The spectacular series of Twisted Metal began with this game. It was developed by SingleTrac and produced by Sony Interactive Studios America. With this edition, PS1 Twisted Metal, the people became a fan of it and waited for the next coming edition. Game is all about driving the modified vehicles and destroying the vehicles of opponents to reach the organizer and win a secret prize.
Twisted Metal 2(1996): This is the second and the most successful game in its series. It’s also known as Twisted Metal 2: World Tour and Twisted Metal EX. It’s the same story, choosing the vehicle and targeting to be the last rider remaining. Calypso is the organizer of the game and will be giving a secret wish as the prize to the winner of the tournament. This is also available for Microsoft Windows.
Twisted Metal III (1998): It is the third installment in this gaming series developed and published by 989 Studios. This edition was not really loved by the critics but was a hit scoring more than 1.14 million coping sales in the United States alone.
Twisted Metal 4 (1999): The fourth installment in the series, developed again by 989 Studios, features Sweet Tooth who overthrows the previous organizer of the game Calypso. The game was considered to be a progress over Twisted Metal III.
Twisted Metal Black (2001): This installment of the series was developed by Incognito Entertainment. It is a PlayStation 2 Twisted Metal version which featured an online enabled variant. Online or not online, the main theme is to kick others off the road to be the last one standing.

Twisted Metal: Head-On (2005): This game was also developed by Incognito Entertainment for the PlayStation Portable version. PSP Twisted Metal is the first game to ship fully online-enabled. A PlayStation 2 version was also released for this game.
Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition (2005): This game is just the renamed version of The Twisted Metal: Head-On edition which was to be ported to PlayStation 2.
Twisted Metal (2012): This is the last game in Twisted Metal Series developed by Eat Sleep Play for PlayStation 3. This is also well-known as PS3 Twisted Metal, the game has three segments featuring, three playable characters Sweet Tooth, MR. Grimm and Krista Sparks AKA “Dollface”. The organizer of the game is Calypso as always.
